Waste to Energy

Waste-to-energy (WtE) is the process of generating energy in the form of heat and/or electricity from organic waste.

WtE processes produce heat directly through combustion, or produce a combustible fuel commodity, such as methane, methanol, ethanol or synthetic fuels.

Prakruti, under the guidance and assistance of Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA), has undertaken numerous community and institutional Biogas Plant projects; wherein the organic waste is converted to gaseous form of fuel - methane or Biogas and nutrient rich compost. The biogas is used for cooking or power generation.
