Biogas Plant

Waste-to-energy (WtE) is the process of generating energy in the form of electricity and/or heat from the primary treatment of waste. WtE is a form of energy recovery. Most WtE processes produce electricity and/or heat directly through combustion, or produce a combustible fuel commodity, such as methane, methanol, ethanol or synthetic fuels.

Prakruti, under the guidance and assistance of Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA), has undertaken numerous community as well as institutional WtE projects; wherein the organic waste is converted to gaseous form of energy - methane or Biogas. The biogas is finally used for cooking or for power generation.
